The 29th annual World Championship Outhouse Races will be a two day series of races in Virginia City beginning on October 6th.

One of the most essential items you need in your kit is a good quality flashlight and plenty of fresh batteries. This can be helpful for signaling help or getting to work on a vehicle in the dark. Road flares will be key for alerting motorists that your vehicle is stuck off the side of the road. 

Now is the time to pay close attention to the needs of your vehicle before the cooler weather arrives.

Start paying very close attention to the lights on your dash board as the one season ends and another begins. The 13th annual Battle of the Rattle 5k, which goes straight up Rattlesnake Mountain, will take place on September 29^th. This is a wonderful and unique fundraiser for the local nonprofit, Nevada Diabetes Association.
