RENO, Nev. (TBD)-- The Dolan Auto Group's annual Class Project is back and better than ever with a revamped criteria allowing for 12 classrooms to receive $5,000 in funding for projects.


Four elementary, four middle and four high school classrooms across Northern Nevada will receive $5,000 each for a total of $60,000. To be considered as a recipient, classrooms must provide a one-page explanation of their project along with a short video, measurable results, an explanation of how the project was executed, how many students participated with at least two or three pictures of students engaged in the project and how the $5,000 will be used. Submissions must be sent to by 6 p.m. on Monday, March 6.


Each class project will be anonymously graded on a one to ten point scale by designated community members based on the following criteria:

·         This project had a positive impact on members of our community and/or environment.

·         There were measurable results.

·         This project was creative.

·         This project was promoted and shared throughout the school and/or community.

·         Student involvement was maintained throughout all aspects of the project.

·         This project allowed students to learn about the importance of giving back.

·         This project incorporated community involvement.


Winners will be announced the week of March 13 during a live video on Dolan Auto Group's Facebook and will be posted to the company's website. Checks will be delivered to each classroom after Spring Break. For more information on Dolan's $60,000 Class Project, visit
