Have you ever bought a new car and gotten a spare tire? Usually these are temporary, compact tires that don't last very long when on the road. Compact tires are made for a one-time use. Once you get back on the road, you should head to the nearest shop to get your original tire patched or replaced. While they work out great for a short-term fix, there are a lot of problems with continuing to drive on a temporary tire. For one, it can cause your tires to become unbalanced.
