To kick off the holiday season, Dolan Auto Group invited our employees to shop for children in need to donate to Toys for Tots in partnership with the Reno Police Department. This is an annual tradition across the auto group and is highly anticipated by our team who look forward to bringing joy to children in our community.
Our employees are partnered with officers from the Reno Police Department and are given a short bio about a child in need. They are then tasked with hand-selecting toys and items for their assignment. Ages range from newborns through teenagers, all receiving the gift of a brighter Christmas season through the diligent shopping done by our team.
When shopping concludes, some gifts are sent directly to our local Toys for Tots to be distributed locally. The remaining gifts bought for specific children are brought to our Dolan Lexus dealership to be wrapped in-house. Later in the month, we will join up again with the Reno Police Department to deliver the gifts to each child we shopped for.
Toys for Tots is a nationwide charitable organization with the goal of impacting communities each year by delivering toys, books and games to children in need. Gifts received by Toys for Tots are donated and distributed locally. Year after year, we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our community and especially to local children and families who need extra support this holiday season.
