Don’t know how to kick off your Labor Day weekend? Well, we have the event for you!
The 2022 Best in the West Rib Cook-Off is in town from Wednesday, August 31st to Monday, September 5th. Two dozen of the country’s best BBQ teams serve you mouthwatering ribs you can’t refuse and compete to win a cash prize. You won’t be disappointed!
In addition to the best BBQ around, a wide variety of activities are offered including huge arts and crafts vendors show, kids' area, VIP area, and top-named entertainers will be performing on two stages... This event spans more than 6 city blocks in the heart of Sparks, Nevada! There is no admission fee and the event is open to the public.

- Date: Wednesday, August 31st – Monday, September 5th
- Times: Wednesday to Sunday 10:30 am- 9:00 pm | Monday 10:30 am- 5:00 pm
- Event Location: Victorian Square, Sparks, Nevada on Victorian Avenue between 14 Street and Pyramid Way.
- Parking: Public Parking is available in the Nugget's East and West Parking lot and the parking garage next to the Galaxy Theaters and The Bridges. But, feel free to take advantage of the free shuttle service! Click here for more details.
