Planting roots in the Fernley community has been so fun and seamless! The people of this small town have welcomed Team Dolan with open arms. As we’ve gotten to know Fernley better relationships have effortlessly developed. We have been so fortunate to partner up with wonderful events, organizations and the local schools to do our part to enrich the community- the Dolan way!
Education, being the Dolan family’s passion, has been and will continue to be a main focus. Working side by side with local schools to learn their needs and how we might be able to fulfill them. Through conversations and brainstorming Cars for Classrooms was born.
Cars for Classrooms is an initiative created to benefit our schools in Lyon County! A portion of each vehicle sold at our Dolan Fernley Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram store has been set aside for these schools for a given period of time. Last week we were able to present those funds to the Lyon County six schools and it was a very special afternoon.
Celebrating the funds raised and talking through how they would be used to better the students through the Positive Behavior Intervention Systems (PBIS) was the highlight of our week.
We look forward to continuing this trend and getting to know the community and the schools better with each passing year.
